We had our ninth negotiating session today. We had productive discussions on a number of issues, and the parties made progress on several open non-economic proposals. These included seniority, leaves of absence, the grievance and arbitration procedure, and RNs’ participation in shared governance committees. These topics are all important to developing a first contract and we appreciate everyone’s thoughtful participation. We look forward to continuing negotiations tomorrow morning.
