Our second bargaining session took place on July 23. During this session, the union presented two revised economic proposals—one related to providing time off for Teamsters’ bargaining committee members to participate in negotiations, and another concerning retroactive payment of 2025 discretionary economic benefits. They also submitted revised versions of several non-economic language proposals.
We engaged in thoughtful and constructive discussion around each of the union’s proposals. While we are still awaiting a response to Corewell Health’s proposals, we remain committed to this collaborative process. We’re grateful for the continued effort and care shown by all involved and look forward to advancing these important conversations together in our next session on the evening of July 24.
Thank you for your continued commitment to our patients, your colleagues and values that make our organization strong.
