Negotiations Update 25

This week, we held three bargaining sessions with the Teamsters and made good progress on several of the outstanding proposals we have been working on for several months. We were able to reach tentative agreements on nine proposals this week, bringing the total number of TAs to 31. A list of the newest TAs is included below. These agreements are all important parts of a final contract, and we are encouraged by the continued discussions at the table.

The remaining proposals represent a lot of remaining work as we have not reached agreement on any of the open economic proposals. These proposals include some of the main items of interest to nurses, such as wages, benefits and staffing, and are often the most difficult to negotiate because changes to any of the individual proposals may impact others.

We have scheduled additional bargaining dates with the Teamsters in June and will continue to work on proposals in the meantime so our time spent at the bargaining table can be productive.
